NorthESIM, like other standard mobile eSIMs, relies on land-based cellular towers for connectivity. Therefore, it will not provide service when your cruise ship is sailing in the open ocean, out of range of these towers. However, your NorthESIM will activate and function perfectly as soon as your ship docks at any port of call, such as Nassau or Freeport, allowing you to connect to local networks.
